All pitches except standard have electric hookup.

All pitches except standard have electric hookup.

Serviced Pitches .. A grassy or full hard standing pitch which has an electric hook up point (16 amp supply). Average size 10 metres x 8metres. Will take a tent 6 x 5 metres, motor-home or caravan plus awning.

Serviced XL Pitches .. Grass pitch with electric hook up point. Will take large tents (up to 10 berth), caravans or motorhomes.

The campsite pitches are varied, some in quite open fields and others in hedged areas which we were pitched on. There are plenty of electric pitches.

What an excellent large pitch with water and electricity and as a bonus the girls were delighted to be very close to the play park.

The pitches are all well maintained and have electric hook ups, fresh water and drainage
the staff are super friendly and helpful with any query or problem.

The pitch we had for our motor home was a very good size with both electric and water. We were even given a few tips from Glynn the guy who runs the site, a very nice and helpful gent will most definitely be back.

Arrived on a horrible day. Very low cloud, it was like a thick fog and very wet. The next day the mist had been replaced with bright, warm sunshine. And we could now see where we were. The pitch we were given and the site looked great.

Unfortunately the toilet and shower facilities were not great. They are fantastic.

We walked the site and to this day cannot find a bad pitch. We have never seen such a vast dog walk with such stunning views.

The fishing is brilliant, one day the grandson caught more than me. He is only 5 years old.

We have toured the country over the years and this must be one of the best if not THE best campsite we have stayed at. The staff are a credit to the park, nothing is too much trouble and always appear happy. Thank you for a wonderful holiday on a wonderful park. We will be back next year.

Great time, facilities best I have seen

We Visited this campsite in May and can only say that we will definitely be going back and soon.

The site is well kept, has a superb fishing lake and all the pitches are spacious, for all the Tenters out there the pitches for the tents are as good, being set amongst various hedges and giving a good degree of privacy and peace and quiet.

The shower and toilet block are fab with very spacious shower facilities. The block is very well kept. We can't comment on the washing up area as we did not use it due to being in a motorhome.

There is a good walk for the Dogs and this links to the public coastal foot path for Mortehoe (which has a very Good pub or two to stop in on the way home!) This path also takes routes to Bull point Light House and Lee Bay.

The beach at Woolacombe is splendid but can get busy at peak times, but its great for the kids You can also take dogs on to the beach, but you need to head for the far left hand side of the beach. There are life guards on duty, but just remember to observe the flags as there is a rip tide that can cause havoc to the unwary swimmers and amateur boarders among you.

The beach is about a ten minute drive or bike ride. The bike ride back is a tough one because its all uphill! (10 minutes down, 1 Hour Back)

Going back to the camp site we tested the takeaway and had a brilliant Tea. The menu is quite varied, its not the cheapest but the wait was well worth it as the food is good, especially when its raining and the Bar B Que is redundant!

There is a good Children's Play Area which would test the most active of little people with lots of swings. A Tyre Slide and General Climbing Frame.

There is no bar or clubhouse if you are looking for a site with the Hi D Hi Factor and entertainment, then go down the road as this wont be the place for you.

Had a great time, facilities best I have seen, will be back soon!
