Few locations can match this area around Mortehoe and Woolacombe for stunning walks, or indeed choice. With much of the land owned and managed by the National Trust, these ancient pathways are well maintained.
We could not believe how good the amenities on this sight were. From the spotlessly clean underfloor heated shower block to ones own water tap, drainage point, barbecue and picnic table plus bike stands, and fire extinguisher. Also I could get WiFi in the caravan. There was a nice view of the fishing lake and ducks.
A brilliant site! The welcome was warm, the site was immaculate and the facilities were the best of any site I have visited in the UK. We visited as a family of four and as a parent I felt the site was very safe and the kids loved the play area.
Our pitch was very quiet and set in a pretty little woodland alcove with a sea view.
The site is located close to a number of top beaches and is the ideal place stay if you want to explore the area.
If you don't want to cook in the evening no problem! Independent food vendors visit the site and sell everything from fish and chips to stone baked pizzas. All food is fresh reasonably prized and tasted great.
I have already recommended this site to my friends and I would recommend this site to anyone else thinking of staying in North Devon.
