Most people like to take their dogs on holiday, but we do take other pets as well. Some of them very unusual.
Great for childrenVery nice camp site. The excellent facilities can be a few minutes walk depending on where you pitch as it is a large site, but you can always drive there if you are totally bone idle. The site staff are very friendly and helpful. It is quite exposed to wind being on the coast line but there are plenty of sheltered pitches for tents, many with service hook ups if required.Great for children with an excellent play area and lovely fishing / duck pool in the middle of the site all set in beautiful country side.A major plus point is that there is no club house to ruin the peaceful surroundings.Would thoroughly recommend this site as a base to explore North Devon. I doubt you will find a better all round site than this.
Our first holiday in a trailer tent and with dog. I can't praise this site enough. Helpful, friendly staff, nice sized pitches, absolutely the best shower blocks and toilet facilities I have ever come across at any site. We had some bad weather for a few days but this site really made up for it. Dog walk is a lovely idea and a great size. Also the home made Chutneys on sale at reception are to die for. We did some very long and very beautiful walks with the dog while we were there. Families with children seemed to be having a great time and the fishing lake seems very popular.
