Sunsets over the Sea

Sunsets over the Sea

We enjoy stunning sunsets most days, and here with the sea as a backdrop and Lundy Island on the horizon.
Lundy means 'puffin' in Norse though these days puffins on the island are in decline, Lundy's wildlife still remains internationally important. In fact Lundy Island is Englands only marine nature reserve and remains the biggest seabird colony in the south of England.

A lovely campsite to stay on, nice size pitches, and brilliant shower facilities which are kept clean and tidy.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here and would stay again if we come back to Woolacombe.

We happened upon Warcombe Farm by accident, a very lucky accident.

What a lovely site. Excellent facilities, beautifully maintained site with both open pitches and more private ones.

The surrounding area is beautiful with lovely walks straight from the site and the Tarka Trail for cycling.

We could only stay for a night but will be staying much longer next time.
