Warcombe Woodland and Dog Walk

Warcombe Woodland and Dog Walk

Let your four legged friend enjoy themselves in our Warcombe Woodland where there is 14 1/2 acres for them to 'tire' themselves out.

'We have visited Warcombe several times, first with a caravan now a motorhome. The site is first class with fantastic showering and toilet facilities.
With wonderful walks for our two black Labradors to tire themselves out on. Relaxing fishing lake for my husband to chill out next to.
So looking forward to coming again for August see you soon.' .. Ali Clarke

Excellent camp site

Just came back after a long weekend. Went with my wife and 3 young children. They loved it as there's a brilliant park. We arrived late and the staff was very helpful and did not moan at all. It was my birthday while we were there and a very cheery member of staff named Glynn came to sing me happy birthday. We am 100% going back next year. I will recommend it to all of my friends

Superb

This is a first class campsite. The pitches are of a very good size and well spaced out.

The site is very clean and tidy, wash-rooms always of a high standard, bins etc. emptied many times throughout the day, grass and general site very well kept.

Plenty of friendly staff on hand to help, a well stocked shop if a little too small and opens a little late at 8. 30am.

My only gripe would be the WiFi - unless you are pitched very close to a mast or you are right at the top end of the park, don't bother buying it - the signal was poor and we couldn't use it after paying £24. I complained but you are told to contact the provider - apparently they are just the middle man and could not give a refund. I found this a bit naughty as they are the ones selling it and I certainly was not the only one to complain so they are fully aware there is a problem!
All in all this is a 5* site.

Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Thank you very much for your review and kind words - glad you enjoyed the park. Regarding the Wi-Fi we have had very few problems until peak season - at times the volume of users had suddenly peaked and some customers experienced connection difficulties. As a result we have paid to upgrade the site coverage and this has helped. One thing to bear in mind is that our rural broadband network does not have the speeds that city users with Fibre-optic lines are used to. We give out a leaflet explaining this as well as contact details for the provider and it seems these steps have helped.
We hope you will stay at Warcombe again soon.
