Family shower rooms are amazing

What a lovely site, on arrival friendly staff welcome us to our very large pitch.

The site is well laid out, all pitches are spacious and the children's play area is very well looked after and maintained, as is everything on site.

Toilet and washing up facilities in one block with washing machines and dryers. The floor is heated and toilets were clean and spacious.

Family shower rooms are amazing, wet room complete with toilet, sink, bench, steam free mirrors and plenty of hangers! The water is warm and powerful but not too hot for children!.Very lush to be honest.

The staff are friendly and when my daughter fell in the play area they picked me up from our tent on one of the sites buggies and were very attentive and looked after her well. Thanks Darryl!

The on site shop is so reasonable, it could be so overpriced as most on site shops are but everything is priced well, bottle of wine £3.49, corkscrew 99p. They do baguettes fresh every day and there is an on site cafe that has plenty of choice and again reasonably priced!

The dog walking area has beautiful views and is 14 acres of recently planted trees which our dog loved bounding around.

Fishing lake. Hubby forgot his tackle but we saw fish being caught.

We are very very impressed with this site and are definitely going back later this year!

The owners, staff and facilities are commendable

Toilets were cleaned regularly and there are signs saying if unhappy find a staff member!

Go visit this site, take a drive down to Lee bay and have a ball!.We did

First Class Site and Service

Just returned from our first visit to this campsite and cannot fault it. Friendly staff always willing to offer advice on just about anything you care to ask.

LIKES: Coded barrier entrance and exit, clean landscaped site, quiet site after 10pm, excellent toilet/showers/washing/food prep/chemical disposal/bins etc all kept clean and tidy and serviced regularly. Even had hand sanitizer in the chemical disposal point - nice touch! Great dog walk which extends to various footpaths connecting to SW coastal path. Had a go a fishing in the beautiful lake (£9.50 for the day and no license required) and caught around 20 fish - kids loved the experience. Food vans (stone-baked pizza, fish and chips, seafood etc) arrived each night to give an alternative to cooking and reasonably priced.

DISLIKES: I am being really picky here, but the road approaching the campsite is a little narrow considering the amount of caravans, campervans using it - as well as the buses serving the nearby holiday parks. It. could be widened easily, but its only about 1 mile to the main roads and there are plenty of passing points.

We met with many fellow campers who told us they had been going here for years. Hope to go back next year but probably need to book early. Recommend this camping park for families and couples.

Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Thank you for such a great review Andrew - I will make sure our hard working staff see your kind words. We strive to provide an excellent holiday experience for our valued customers. You mentioned the access road to the park - as you know hundreds of caravans and large motorhomes go up and down the road to access both Warcombe and other parks - as you mention there are lots of passing places and there are rarely any problems as long as everyone takes care. In areas of outstanding Natural beauty there is huge opposition to changing our small roads and lanes - that is why Devon is so unspoilt.
It's great to hear how much you enjoyed the lake and the fishing. Many children have learned to fish here and we hope that you and your family will enjoy many more holidays here at Warcombe.
