Just returned from a fantastic weekend. Fantastic park with superb facilities. Family bathrooms were outstanding and so warm which was much needed on the chilly evenings. Super friendly staff, who were most helpful. Great location and already booked our return in August. Can't wait to come back.
Superb friendly site
We never stay at the same place twice - until we found Warcombe Farm Camping Park.
Four of us, two being small children, arrived a week before the summer rush period. We immediately fell in love with the site, and were placed close to the children's play area, which was excellent as we could keep an eye on our children whilst we had a glass of wine in the evening.
There is a lake at the bottom of our camping field but this is really well managed and we didn't once have any concerns for our small children.
The site is really well kept with a fantastic shower block. We never once queued for a shower, the water was always piping hot, and the block looked as if it had been cleaned just before we went in.
The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We loved the views but were limited by the typical British weather. Saying that, the area is lovely with lots to do in a short distance from the site.
We loved this site and returned the following year and had another lovely holiday.
A real gem of a site.
Fantastic, friendly, amazing views
The staff are extremely friendly, the site is very well maintained with lovely heated showers, especially the family rooms, there are amazing views out to sea. A fantastic holiday, been before and will go again
Lovely quiet site
We booked Warcombe for the week so my hubby could do some fishing. Unfortunately it was very windy so he couldn't cast out but the waterside location was lovely. The shower block was immaculate and the site very well kept. We would love to return in sunny weather!
We stayed here for one night in our motorhome, it was very quiet and peaceful, facilities were very clean, we took our dog, and there was a lovely dog walk on site. The walk to Woolacombe was quite steep, but worth it once you get there.
Tranquil site close to coast
First stay at this site. Only one night booked.
Arrived at mid-day, welcomed to site, even though this is definitely the quiet season.
The pitch we stayed on was a super pitch, all facilities. Plenty of space between pitches, feeling of peace.
Dog walk area massive. Our dog loved it, and we went from this area onto footpaths to find Mortehoe Nice walk, but not that easy. We continued the walk to Woolacombe and back via the very steep hill!
The warden did warn us about the hill, but you never quite believe them till you try and climb it.
The facilities were very good, warm, clean and spacious. Wifi coverage was very acceptable.
Will be returning, wished we have been able to stay a further night. Next time.
More than Just a Campsite
I've never left a review before, but feel the team at this campsite deserve one.
Despite high winds and a large number of broken poles trying to pitch, the staff (along with some fellow campers) couldn't have done any more to help us. Nothing was too much for Glyn and he applied his previous experience to try and help strengthen the broken poles and keep the tent in one piece during our stay.
Glyn was a great representation of the Warcombe team who just wanted to ensure we enjoyed our holiday which we truly did. Amazing site with so many different ventures locally which include walking, cycling or bus allowing the car to be parked up permanently.
We enjoyed it so much that for the first time ever, we have already booked to go back next year.
Yet again an excellent stay
Myself and my partner have just come back from a few days staying in a motorhome at Warcombe Farm Camping Park.
About 4 years ago we stayed here and we were so impressed by the site we thought we must come back when hiring a motorhome again.
We turned up after hours (well after 5pm), there was a phone number to ring in which the warden within seconds a lady and man appeared in a golf buggy and checked us into our lovely pitch (which in fact is near the dog walking area with some lovely views).
Again we were 'off season' but that's what we like so nice and quite and plenty of walking with the dog, lots of nice villages for the more serious of walkers to visit and also to chill out.
The on site shower and toilet facilities where once again outstanding, always very clean and showers hot. In fact we moved onto Cornwall after staying here and only wish we never moved as the next campsite was dreadful.
We had a few days of bad weather and we were on a grass pitch and a guy who works for the site pulled me up and offered for us to move to a gravel pitch which was far better for us with having a dog which meant he didn't get so muddy, which again was very thoughtful.
I would thoroughly recommend this site and may it long continue its high standards!.
Perfect in every way
This campsite was an oasis to stay at this summer, when we visited (2 adults 2 children under 4), following the tail end of Hurricane Bertha. The campsite staff are SO friendly, we were all so surprised at being greeted in such a friendly manner, taken to our private camping spot by a golf buggy.
The shower block is to be seen and experienced to be believed... the best ever for us. Bins are emptied like clock work, like everything else here, this is a well oiled machine of camping, everything has been considered... whether it is the cleanliness, kids park, fishing, sea views, private sheltered spots, or pick your own herbs from the boxes at reception... this is certainly gonna be a regular holiday site for us in years to come.
Fantastic time !
We stayed here again for a week bank in June, it was our second time, as we had stayed the previous August. My two girls aged nine and four loved it as much as the first time, again facilities were spotless.
We stayed on a pitch along the back and were happily surprised to see the bushes had been trimmed down giving us an amazing view of the sea, weather was a bit mixed, still plenty to do in the area.
And on our rainiest day spent the day fishing the kids still enjoyed it sitting under the umbrella taking shelter, plenty of fish caught to keep them busy
This is a really fantastic site, we have booked again already for next June ;)
Big thank you to the friendly staff who keep this site in such a good condition cannot wait to get back there !!
This was our fourth visit to Warcombe, and it improves year on year. (And it was great to start with!)
This year we were on pitch 229, which was the perfect size for our tent, picnic table, car and shade sail. Surrounded by trees it was also quiet and private.
Even though we were there the bank holiday weekend and the following week the facilities were never overcrowded, and we're always spotlessly clean and well stocked.
It's been lovely to see the trees in the dog walk area developing into s proper wooded area, and there's so much to do in the local area we will definitely be back again.
Now if only we could come and see some proper sunshine! I'd definitely pay a premium for that /-)
Keep up the excellent work Warcombe - highly recommended.
Just perfect in every way, location, facilities and value.
Booked for one weeks camping, (pitch 143) which was spacious and had a lovely view over fields to the sea. Nicely spaced out pitches and very peaceful in the evenings. Shower/toilet blocks spotless and staff very friendly.
Very dog friendly too with a wonderful field to walk your dog in.
The weather was amazing also which is always a bonus. We have booked again for next year.
Fabulous place to stay, friendly and welcoming
Stayed here 2 times this year once in June and August, lovely setting, great play park for kids and walks for dogs, fantastic family wet rooms and super clean compared to other sites we have stayed at. We highly recommend the staff and owners are so friendly and will do anything to make your stay a great one, looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely quiet clean site
Camped here for three nights with family. Site was lovely and clean. Pitches well spaced and a very secure friendly site. Would certainly stay here again. Only criticism would be during peak season the Mortehoe Road can get jammed up with traffic when the local buses try to get though. However this is only trivial.
Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Thank you for your kind review. In peak season the roads in rural Devon can become congested with all the tourists visiting this beautiful area. We hope to see you again.
A lovely, clean campsite! The pitches are very large - we had a huge tent and a gazebo and a car and there was still room for the boys to kick a football around.
Fab amenities - the toilets are clean and the shower rooms (wet rooms) are fantastic for parents with small kids. Very spacious and an added bonus of under-floor heating. We never had to wait for a shower, but having said that, we were at the end of the season and the campsite was fairly empty!
Everyone around the campsite is very friendly. Fish and chip van was very popular, as was the huge oven that arrived to cook stone-baked pizzas!
The men/boys hired fishing rods and caught loads in the on-site lake.
Unfortunately, our trip was overshadowed by our 9 year falling and breaking his upper arm. An ambulance had to be called and most of the time was spent in and out of the hospital. I cannot thank and praise the staff enough (especially Judith) for their help and concern. We shall hopefully be returning next year as there is so much that we didn't get to see or do.
