Couldn't fault it
Visited here for one night to try camping with my two boys, husband and puppy. The campsite is very close to Woolacombe, which is a 5 minute drive away. We were directed to our pitch by a friendly staff member and told about all the dos and don'ts.
Out pitch could of fit 3 family tents and it was enclosed which was great with a puppy on the loose.
Toilets and showers were a short walk away and were absolutely lovely. Cleaned to perfection.
The site has a fishing lake and children's park. It wasn't busy and was ideal for a first time camping experience. There was loud music playing until 10 (not the camp sites fault) but we dealt with that as we understand people are on holiday. Price for 1 night was £25 having no experience with camping I guess that's average. Highly recommend as this place is clean, friendly and spacious.
Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Thank you, Melissa for your lovely review! We always try and sort out any problems such as noise straight away as there is always somebody on call to help. We hope you will visit again soon!
Excellent as ever, will always come back
Have been staying at Warcombe farm for many years, the site is perfect for any family, couples, singles, in fact every one, dog and biker friendly, (Martin the owner is a biker). The washing facilities are better than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in.
Lovely place, probably the best we have stayed at
Stayed at Warcombe Farm this weekend (Friday-Sunday) and the positive reviews I have read surely stood up. Such a clean, friendly well organised site with the best pitches I have seen.
We stayed on the premier pitch next to the lake, it's massive with a brick stand for your own BBQ and your own bench/table.
You get private access to the lake so can fish right next to your van. the weekend was designed around fishing which turned out to be very successful! Any keen fishers give it a go, the lake is flooded with carp and tench and we caught about 50 carp over the 2 days. (They love crab paste pellets) the toilets and showers where spotless and modern.
Staff where very friendly, especially the guy who took us to our pitch and cuts the grass he's a top bloke. I would definitely stay here again and advise you do so too. Thanks very much
First class campsite
Just returned from a lovely weekend camping at Warcombe Farm. The site is immaculately clean with the largest and clean shower/toilet facilities I have every encountered whilst camping.
Many pitches are secluded and perfect if you want some privacy.
We travelled as two families and the fact that the pitches are allocated prior to arrival is great as you know exactly where you will be.
They are very strict with children play ball, which our kids were not too happy about but a good thing as there is a play area.
We will definitely be back.
Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
We are very pleased that you had a pleasant stay at our park. We try our very best to offer many different types of pitches to suit all needs. We do hope that you decide to visit us again.
Just back from a week a Warcombe. The facilities are first class, staff so friendly and helpful. If you want to relax and enjoy the peace this is the place to come. Can't wait to return. Many thanks Paul and Hazel
The best ever campsite by far!
A**** 5**** the best campsite ever with the loveliest staff.
If you want camping perfection it is here at Warcombe! Beautiful facilities and beautiful surroundings. If you want a peaceful and relaxing holiday you don't get better than this! I can't say enough, but once you've experienced this beautiful campsite you won't go anywhere else!
We came back on Friday from a 5 night stay and I can honestly say this is the nicest campsite we have stayed on!
Staff are really friendly and helpful and always smiling.
My children aged 5 and 8 were safe to go off with their walkie talkies to the play park and shop on their own and they loved their independence.
The facilities were 5*, clean, warm, and never busy. Their is even a family bathroom which me and my daughter enjoyed every day.
Thanks for a lovely holiday Warcombe farm, we will certainly be back.
Fantastic as always.
We have just returned from our annual trip to Warcombe where all the staff were friendly and helpful as always. Facilities are kept clean and tidy all the time and even when busy. The food vans which visit site are a great alternative to cooking. We will be back later this year and for many more years.
Glad To See Glyn Again Whoop Whoop
We have again enjoyed another bank holiday week at this glorious site. Fantastic to see Glyn again, as helpful as usual and great with the kids. Everyone else was great, the site clean as always and a beautiful array of flowers. Thanks guys and Glyn especially x
I'd really recommend this campsite. The facilities were 1st class - superbly clean bathrooms with underfloor heating. The best showers I've used whilst camping and the family bathroom with bath was great for our little one who won't go under the shower!
Although this is a large campsite the pitches have been thoughtfully created, we were lucky to have a single pitch surrounded by trees and birds. Some of the pitches have sea views and the play ground and lake were a hit for us. We'd definitely go back again.
A lovely find
Recently stayed here for bank holiday, the place was one of the best sites we have stayed, it was absolutely spotless. Toilets, showers, laundry room, all excellent.
The pitch we had for our motor home was a very good size with both electric and water. We were even given a few tips from Glynn the guy who runs the site, a very nice and helpful gent will most definitely be back.
Camping at Warcombe
This is our 4th trip to this site as always a warm and friendly welcome. Glynn always gives a warm and friendly smile. facilities spotless can't fault it :) the site is perfectly situated for visiting surrounding areas such as Woolacombe and others. Will be returning in the summer
Superb Site and helpful staff
Stayed for a week on site in our Fifth Wheel mid April. Excellent site facilities, clean and spacious.
The Warden and staff made us very welcome and were extremely helpful especially when we were trying to put up our awning for the first time! The site was quiet at this time which suited us.
Pitches are nicely spaced out, many surrounding the fishing lake. Recommend the walk from the site to join the South Coastal route. Easy access to Mortehoe and Woolacombe beach.
For off road easy cycling - not too far from Braunton, Barnstaple or Bideford where you can access the Tarka trail. We also enjoyed the golf at Saunton. With so much on offer and a lovely site we will definitely try and return.
Stayed at Warcombe Farm for the first time over Easter for a week. What can I say, what superb sized camping pitches, superbly clean facilities, excellent location being far enough away for privacy and quiet location, but close enough to walk to Woolacombe if you fancy a 20-30 minute walk.
Staff friendly and helpful and park facilities ample for the children to enjoy. Will definitely return as the site in our opinion ticks all the boxes for a relaxing family holiday.
What I would say, and this isn't anything to do with Warcombe Farm, if you intend to walk to Woolacombe, which is lovely and then get a taxi back, ask the driver to go the short way as we and friends paid between £5 and £10 for the same trip. Thought I'd mention this as this was a little disappointing although Warcombe Farm had nothing to do with this, it is a consideration.
In conclusion, considering we walked passed the more commercial sites, we were more than pleased and satisfied we booked Warcombe and will return more and more now we have found a excellent North Devon location. Thanks to all that made the site so clean and appealing.
Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Dear Fraser P, thank you for taking the time to review our park. We welcome your kind feedback regarding our facilities and staff. With regard to the price of a taxi from Woolacombe back to site, we would always suggest that you agree a price before taking the journey. We do hope to see you again soon. You could call Ezee Cabs, based in Woolacombe, for a price before booking.
1 night stop en route to Cornwall
I stopped here in my van for the Good Friday night at Easter.
It was a flying visit hence only the one night and would of loved to of stayed a few more nights.
Due to the bad weather during the day and me wanting to go out in my van I was upgraded to a hard standing fully serviced pitch for no extra charge so I didn't get stuck when I wanted to go out. Although, I never saw anyone else getting stuck or any muddy puddles which could of caused problems.
I had a lovely view over the fishing pond and not too far from the toilets etc.
The toilets and washing up areas were very clean and nice and warm.
I did notice you could get Wi-Fi on the campsite but I didn't subscribe to it as I wasn't on the campsite long enough to feel the need to check my Facebook or twitter but at £5 for 24 hours I thought that was of decent value.
I managed to get an excellent nights sleep as the site was very quiet at night time.
I will definitely be stopping at Warcombe farm again as I'm down Woolacombe quite often.
Keep up the good work guys and I'll hopefully see you again soon
