Afternoon winter sunshine on Woolacombe beach

Beautiful sunshine and surf at Woolacombe on a January day. The nearest beach for Surfing to Warcombe should you be looking for a Surfing holiday in North Devon.

Woolacombe had been a top surfing spot since the 1960s and there are surfing competitions and events throughout the year. Beach huts, children's activities and lifeguards are all there through the summer season.

Great week had by all!

We have just returned from a family week camping... We had pitch 129 which is massive and perfectly situated for the toilets, lake and park. The toilets are pristine and we never had to queue. The showers surpass the toilets easily being the best I've ever had camping, the shelving units is brilliant! If all the family showers are full the normal ones are plenty big enough for an adult and child.

Glyn is brilliant! Friendly and loved by all the children, in particular my son Oscar! We will, I'm sure return one day, however due to policy and party size I'm not sure it will be the annual family camping holiday we hoped it would be... We need somewhere that would allow 5/6 tents all of one party which is a shame but definitely would return if group size was smaller!
Thank you all

Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Thank you for your kind words about our park. We love to see families enjoying the fishing - especially many young people who get their first fishing experience here at Warcombe. Glyn, Mike, Stuart and all the staff are pleased to help and advise with the fishing whenever they can. We do take larger groups outside peak season, as well as rallies and larger family bookings. Give us a call on 01271 870690 to discuss larger group bookings. We hope to see you at Warcombe again very soon!

We've just returned from 3 nights at Warcombe Farm with three other families (8 children 2-8 years old) and our dog.

As everyone says, it is a fabulously clean and tidy campsite with lovely pitches (our friend's even had a sea view!).

The dog walking area is second-to-none with paths mown through long grass that is planted with native trees. You can easily spend a good hour walking a couple of different circuits.

Our pitches were at the bottom of the site and it's worth having a windbreak if you're camping there.

The children loved the play area and happily cycled around the site making friends.
