Tranquil site close to coastFirst stay at this site. Only one night booked. Arrived at mid-day, welcomed to site, even though this is definitely the quiet season. The pitch we stayed on was a super pitch, all facilities. Plenty of space between pitches, feeling of peace. Dog walk area massive. Our dog loved it, and we went from this area onto footpaths to find Mortehoe Nice walk, but not that easy. We continued the walk to Woolacombe and back via the very steep hill! The warden did warn us about the hill, but you never quite believe them till you try and climb it. The facilities were very good, warm, clean and spacious. Wifi coverage was very acceptable. Will be returning, wished we have been able to stay a further night. Next time.
We have just returned from a weeks holiday and must say I agree with everyone about the campsite, it is very nice and the showers are superb. We found the shop to be very basic and expensive, not even selling newspapers. Surrounding area is beautiful.
