Daises in the hedges

Daises in the hedges

Native to north and central Europe, we have encouraged Daises around the camping park for the benefit of the wildlife and of course their wonderful flash of colour.

Daisy derives from the Anglo Saxon 'daes eage' which literally mean 'day's eye'. Named for when daisies open at dawn .. as the day begins.

We came to your site on the 30th may. This is the first time we have been and was really impressed. The site was clean and fresh, the showers and toilets were lovely. The surrounding countryside beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Tranquil site close to coast

First stay at this site. Only one night booked.

Arrived at mid-day, welcomed to site, even though this is definitely the quiet season.

The pitch we stayed on was a super pitch, all facilities. Plenty of space between pitches, feeling of peace.

Dog walk area massive. Our dog loved it, and we went from this area onto footpaths to find Mortehoe Nice walk, but not that easy. We continued the walk to Woolacombe and back via the very steep hill!

The warden did warn us about the hill, but you never quite believe them till you try and climb it.

The facilities were very good, warm, clean and spacious. Wifi coverage was very acceptable.

Will be returning, wished we have been able to stay a further night. Next time.
